Donating food to our Foodbank

Throughout the Covid-19 crisis we have distributed unprecedented quantities of food, and are continuing to do so, please support us in any way you can.
The Walton & Hersham Foodbank relies on food that is donated by the public.
We supply our clients with a variety of food products, all non-perishable.
Each food parcel contains enough food for each person in the household for three meals per day.
We regularly experience shortages of some types of food products therefore if planning to donate food, please check the shopping list for the items we are most in need of.
Please no alcohol, opened food or items that are out of date as we only issue in-date food.

Thank you.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis.

Occasionally when we have an excess of certain items or food that is near it’s best before date, we send food to other foodbanks and charities who support local vulnerable people to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people who really need it, wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
