The foodbank has a share of donations made through the stores donation bag scheme. |
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in need. Donations will be shared across Walton & Hersham Foodbank and our new Bridge pantry due to be open in May 2026 This ensures your donations go to help people who use our services wherever they are.
Occasionally, when we have an excess of certain items or food that is near it’s best before date we send food to other foodbanks in the Trussell network and charities who support vulnerable people to help their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people who really need it, wherever in the UK they are.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
